Rockin’ Rollin’ Prints 2021
The return of PrintMatter’s steamroller even will feature over 50 artists from across Texs. Each artist brought a carved 3’ x 5’ woodblock, which was inked and printed using a 2-ton steamroller as a printing press. The oversized prints will be hung in the Printing Museum where they will be available for viewing and purchase,
This Jurassic series is based on a visit to the Jurassic Coast in England, where I was raised. I was inspired by the story of Mary Anning who, though uneducated, spent her life discovering and annotating fossils along the Lyme Regis cliffs and discovered the first intact Plesiosaurus.
